One side is already colored, the other side is ready for the child to color the page to match the other one. Each page has a caption. Still crisp and clean, written by Dorothy Kunhardt and delightfully illustrated in color by Garth Williams. Twelve books make up the "Tiny Nonsense Stories" set, and 12 books make up the "Tiny Animal Stories" set. Case measures 10" long by 6 1/4" tall by 1 1/2" deep. Books measure 2" by 3" and have a cardboard cover. Corners and edges show wear, but are in good condition considering the age. Copyright shown on box is 1968, inside books from #1-12: 1948 and 13-24: 1949. The clear front window on the case is loose. Wonderful storybook set to add to your collection! Rare set to find complete.
